Manticeps

Control, spread, and reanimate the dead. Manticeps is a platformer side scroller in which you assume the role of a parasitic virus taking control of a mantis. Fight and infect your way to spread your mutation to all life. Get stronger as you acquire more mutations on your path of assimilation and carnage.

Story

You start out as a mantis that has been taken control of by a parasitic virus,  waking up in a cave surrounded by the bodies of green mantis. The mantis you have taken control of is weak, but you are drawn outside up to the surface. There you find many other bugs roaming around and as you get closer, the only thing you feel is instinct, the instinct to kill.
